I finally found a comfortable way to wear my ficcares.. I think my problem is too much hair, and also headcurve. The clips usually hurt a lot if I wear them on middle of the back of my head, but they don't if I place them high up on my head. So high logrolls = perfect! I wore it today and it held up wonderfully. I may have purchased a large Amethyst Jewel because I was so happy..
The Jet Black was holding the bun really well on it's own, but I added another clip (Creme) just to make sure that the bottom coil didn't fall down and ruin the bun. It was pretty important for me today, because we were doing practical stuff at nursing school, and I couldn't have my hair fall down while I was in my uniform.
Things have been a bit quiet around here lately. Sorry about that. The reason is that I'm now a nursing student, and I've been terribly busy. I'll make it up to you with a few bun pictures. I recently mastered the figure 8 bun, and now I'm obsessed with it!
This was supposed to be a logroll bun. I'm not entirely sure why it's such a blobby mess, but I think it's because I was too lazy to twist my hair before bunning. Ah well, at least it's comfortable.
Good evening! I honestly couldn't come up with a more imaginative title than 'Sunday', because despite sleeping most of the day, I'm very, very tired. I blame the unusually hot weather we have here now. No real point to this post, I just wanted to say hi and post a picture. I've only been making messy buns with claw clips this weekend, purely because I've been terribly lazy. I washed my hair on Friday, and didn't brush it until this evening. I know I know, shame on me!
I didn't want to leave it down after brushing, so I put it up in an orchid bun. I love these blue clips, they're among my absolute favourites. I got super lucky on ebay before the weekend, and I managed to snap them up in green and violet-red too. All the colours had been listed as out of stock for a while, and then suddenly a pair of green and a pair of violet-red were available again. Can't wait to have them here!
Good news, everyone! This is a post I wrote two weeks ago. I'm returning soon, and I shall hopefully bring lots of lovely pictures for you. I'm also sure that a ton of claw clips have arrived in my absence, and those shall be tried on too. Have a lovely weekend!
